Whilst there does not exist something like a free rehabilitation, places funded by the government are from time to time made available to those who need serious support and exhibit adequate enthusiasm to achieve success. There are unfortunately a lot of hoops to jump through while funding is very limited.
If you want to go for this option, generally, you are required to devote a certain amount of time in community-based programmes prior to being considered for rehab. This has to happen so your desire and drive to succeed are examined and to make sure that you are stable enough in your substance use before going to rehab.
It is important to keep in mind that the process is lengthy and convoluted and immediate access is not possible in this regard. As will be demonstrated here, you are required to go through a number of interviews and a lot of patience is needed.
